About Me:
I'm a corgi fanatic who resides in Houston. I fell in love with corgies when i was a little girl, so when i was finally able to get my own dog, i made sure it was a corgi or corgi mix. Micah is my furbaby, and she is such a spoiled momma's girl.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
I currently have a "shorgi" that is a sheltie and pembrooke mix. Her name is Micah even though she answeres to names like "fluffy butt" and "perky paws." She was born in early September of 2006.

She's a really active little girl who loves to chase balls around the house thats bigger then she is. She also has a best friend thats a cat, who she taught how to play-fight and is probably regretting it now :) teaching the cat to fight has come back to bite her in the butt... literally.
I have:
Corgi mix

Hey- random bit of info here. I saw your post about your corgi getting into chip bags. Please be sure to cut a hole in the bottom of the bag before you throw it into the trash (for cereal, chips, crackers, etc). Many corgis, including one of mine, have died from suffocating in a bag. I never knew about this until it happened to me and I like to warn people about it. Now we cut our bags down as we go and we cut a hole in the bottom and we put the trash bin inside the pantry. Can never be too careful! Love your photos!

Well I guess you got the best of both breeds. I have a corgi and a sheltie I love both of their personalities. Micah is sooooo adorable. I also have a mix who we think is Australian Cattle Dog and Corgi.

I laughed when I read your comment this morning because last night we got a soccer ball at Wal-Mart. So far it has only acquired teeth marks, but no holes. Hopefully I can get some video outside later.

Micah is precious! She definitely looks more corgi that sheltie. I may try finding a larger ball. Maybe Penny wont be able to sink her teeth in it so easily.
