Our favorite spot
This is an unnamed 6550' mountaintop. We have spent at least 6 nights here, usually without a tent (you don't sleep on summits in questionable weather).
Gwynnie is 10 years old, and she can still do this. Twice on this summit, while making camp just past sundown, we've been startled by the full moon rising over the horizon.

My husband and I are getting ready to go on a camping trip with our 10 year old Corgi, but we won't have such magnificent views! Still, he loves camping and hiking. :)
