Maybe 20-30 mph gusts; the warm wind had dropped by dawn. The tent had flapped so loudly, I didn't sleep well. We've spent 4 nights on this 6500' peak; you can see why we keep coming back. 7/18/10 on the Cascade crest.

My cat, Cali has that bad ear day look every day now. The vet discovered a squamous cell carcinoma on the tip of her ear and had to remove the growth. He reshaped the ear and now her ears look just like Al's, but w/o high winds. What a great life to be one of your Corgis, John.

Stunning! I almost feel 50 degrees cooler after I saw this picture.

That's Al... The Mt in your background has more snow than the Cascade peaks in our area. The temps in Central Oregon are quite warm right now, probably the reason. Gorgeous no matter how you see it.

I have trouble telling your pups apart is this All or Gwynnie? Look at the hair on the back...how much do they weigh? Must have a pretty firm grip on the ground (snow) !!!

As usual John this is a spectacular picture :)
