Regarding the 12th Annual So Cal Corgi Picnic...
Here's the event link on Mycorgi http://www.mycorgi.com/events/event/show?id=1150197:Event:172427
The website of the person who organized is it (Dolores) is here:

You can find her email address there.
There are other Corgi activities in Southern California. Every 2-3 weeks, I go to the Huntington Beach Corgi Meetup, which is an informal group that meets every Sunday at 10AM at the Huntington Beach Dog Park. Basically, it's Corgis playing together at the dog park. The HB dog beach is nearby so that's nice to go to earlier in the morning.
There is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of Southern California. I'm not a member though. I missed their last event after I found them but I'm interested in going to their next event which will probably be next year. I think they have 3-4 major events per year in Orange County.
There might be other group activities nearer your location. I'm just not aware of them. Perhaps Ginny might be able to help. She made the announcement about the picnic on Mycorgi.
Hope that helps.
