Haha, Ein doesn't really get crushes. He's momma's boy, so he comes to me whenever he has 'problems.' Mainly when his 'sister' is being mean to him. Otherwise he just has friends. But that's few and far between, seeing as he still gets pretty hyper and over-friendly with other dogs. I'd like to make him calmer, so we're going to get him fixed as soon as we can. I just moved from Cali, so we're trying to get back on our feet >./body>
I got Ein from a lady named Cindy Fenn who has both the mother and the father. She lives in California, about 100 miles away from Sacramento. And thanks for the tip. I went back and noticed that his grand parents share the same mom, and it kind of made me wonder if something might happen down the line with him. I think I will get him fixed, just because he can be a little nutso around the girls.
Welcome! Thanks for the friend request! There is a corgi meet up in Chicago Ridge this Sunday March 8th, it is at Pawstively Heaven Pet Resort. Check out the main page for the details!
Hi Sara. Kelly and I are wondering if you're able to make it on Oct. 12th. If not, we might change it to a meeting a Chicago dog park and reschedule the hike to a day that works for more people.
My boyfriend and I live in Chicago. Toby lives in Oak Brook with Curtis's parents, but we visit and play with him frequently. There are many dog parks in both areas...just not the area in Wisconsin near Starved Rock where I'm hoping to go hiking. Toby enjoys dog parks, but he's never gone hiking/swimming or met other corgis. I was hoping that this was a chance to tackle two birds with one stone. :)
Hi! Oct. 12th would work for both me and Kelly (http://www.mycorgi.com/profile/Kelly58).
I also asked Jenni & Dave Fields, but haven't gotten a reply yet (http://www.mycorgi.com/profile/JenniFields). I loved your idea about finding an area to let the corgis run free. However, I called Starved Rock and they said that the town requires dogs to be leashed at all times. SO SAD! If you still want to go on the hike, I'm sure it will still be super fun for the dogs (mine has never met other corgis!). :) Let me know!
