Hi, Our previously very sweet new female puppy has started acting aggressively towards our 3 year old male corgi. This started right around her first heat a few weeks ago. He is fixed and she will…Continue

I think Frankie's parents were Trixie & Howie? Is it horrible that I'll have to pull his papers out??
Our next competition will be the day after Thanksgiving in Ixonia, WI. Fingers crossed it will be our 3rd leg.
Last I looked, the AKC had processed scores up to Oct. 18, so nothing yet. :) It's interesting, they don't post scores for Rally, only Qs and the number of unique judges.
Ah, Charlie and Sonny are just related through Gambler then :). I agree! They are such great dogs; we may get a second one in a little while and I would definitely get him from Sandy again!
Aww his face does look just like my Charlie! Wow so was Sonny's dad part of the same litter as Charlie? Charlie's litter was Gambler and Snickers.
Congrats on passing the tests! Where do you plan to do therapy? Nursing homes?
Wynne is my Corgi that knows all the tricks. She loves to learn tricks and she is a fast study. Will is not interested in learning tricks. He knows sit, down, and spin. That's it. He was a show dog before we found him. His owner died, so we got him when he was almost 2 years old. I don't force him to learn tricks because he worked hard before we got him and now he is retired.
Both dogs are getting baths tonight because we will be going to the nursing home tomorrow.

Your Sonny is a pretty boy. I guess that is why I thought he might be related to my Corgis!
The picnic was great! My husband and I have attended the last 3 years. It was the first Corgi picnic that we ever attended.
I see you have a chinchilla. That is unusual!
I also see that you joined the Therapy Dog in Training group. Do you plan to do therapy with Sonny or are you doing it now. Wynne & will go to the nursing home. Wynne does tricks for the seniors and they both love to get petted.

Hi "LA Stewart", Our dog Sonny came from Sunny Garden Kennel in Oneida IL. The Phantom is not in his past 3 generations. His father was called STEWARTS HIGH DOLLAR HABIT (from Stewart Quarter Horses in Indiana) and his mother's name was MILKYWEY'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY.
Your dog is really beautiful :) .... I like the white stripe going up his nose
There were a lot of great dogs at the picnic!
Thanks for answering my post about the dog in the Wisconsin Corgi Picnic picture. The markings on Sonny's head looks like my boy, Will. Mine is from Wyndtree Farms. Do you know if somewhere in Sonny's family there is a dog named Ch Sandyshire's The Phantom ROMX? The markings look similar. That is his picture above.
At that same picnic we found a nephew to our 2 Corgis. It was funny because their dog looked so much like my Wynne that I thought they put her on a leash for a second. I was going over to see why they would leash my dog when I realized it was NOT my dog. Then we discovered that they were family.
When I saw the photo of your Sonny I thought maybe we had another relative there and missed him. Let me know if you find The Phantom in your dog's family tree.

Welcome Carolyn and Sonny!
