Hi Kelly:  I got them to stand still because it was supper time.  I just have to say that (Supper Time!) and they all come running and patiently wait for me to put down their dishes.  It's a ritual.  It's the only way I can get them all together like that.  They are so much fun.  They are my constant companions and my life would be empty without them.  I love your clan too.  They are all gorgeous!

They're adorable, how did you ever get them to stay still for the photo?

Well I started out with just one.  Honest!  I don't know why I just kept wanting more.  They are just so irresistible.  I now have 3.  Jake was my first and I got him when he was 10 wks. old.  Then I adopted his mother Chloe.  She was put up for adoption by the breeder when they retired her from breeding and showing.  Then I got Sally, she's my tri girl.  I took her in when a friend of mine couldn't keep her.  We also have a Cairn Terrier/Jack Russell cross named Coco (she thinks she's a Corgi).  She was a gift for Jake on his 1st birthday.  I think I better stop now.  Coco is 2 yrs. old, Jake is 3 yrs. old, Sally is 5 yrs. old and Chloe is 7 yrs. old now.  I know this much, I'll never be without at least one Corgi until the day I die.

Well, little Kelso has been home just shy of 2 weeks now and while the results are slightly mixed, overall, it's been a great decision. We've had some backsliding the last 2 days on housebreaking, Ragnar included, after a smashing start. Ragnar no longer whines and carries on all day to be entertained. He's thrilled to have a new bestest friend, who like your Moli, is incredibly laid back, especially for a puppy just entering teething. They really get along great and entertain each other and we can't wait to find a house with a fenced in yard (or one we can fence) so that they can do race track and wrestling outside and leash free.

We have a very highly strung 5 year old boy & 18 months ago found him a friend Moli 'Dollydog', now 3, who is the most laid back contented girl. We hoped something might rub off, sadly not but they are the best of friends and such fun to watch when they play together. They were both 'rescues' from different parts of the country but are actually 'Uncle & Niece'. They are a great pair, so different but both, in their own way, adorable.

We'll be getting ours I think the first week in October, but I'll definitely let you know, and please tell me how it's going with yours. Apparently the two puppies (1/2 brothers) both like sleeping with their feet up in the air, so hopefully they have other similarities. If the other one is as sweet and cuddly and eager to please, we'll count ourselves incredibly lucky. Our old man already looks happy to be getting what I know he thinks of as a second free vending machine on little legs! He loves stealing food from the puppy.

We're right there with you Shannon. We have two, George who is 7 and Newman who is 1. We're hoping the 3rd will be more in line with Newman's energy level. We're hoping to get him by the end of this month. Like yours, George needs a break. Please keep me updated on how that works out for you, especially if you get your 3rd before we do! :)

My horse was over 30 years ago so I am afraid my husband does not remember much but at least he has resigned himself to keeping the grand dog so I guess we will settle for 3 dogs.

We currently have 2--one 10 1/2 and 1 9 months and I'm contemplating the third. He's half brother to the younger dog. I've heard 3 dogs is actually easier than one because they entertain one another, and I'm hoping the two younger ones will give the old guy a break. The puppy is driving him crazy right now. I've also heard they are better dogs because of having a pack to pal around with

That's exactly what you did wrong Bev...just start surfing DreamHorse and show him different prospects your really drooling over and mention the expenses and how you need this and that and I'm sure it will all come rushing back to him!!! LOL

Kelly...you will convert your friends by having 3 respectful and mannerly Corgis compared to those who only have one dog and then they will come to realize your brilliant for choosing the Corgi because they truly are magical.
