About My Corgi(s):
...and this is George, aka Jorge, Georgie, Porgi, Big Curious, Small Botherer, Rabbit, Papa, bo-boy. He comes from a Missouri breeder, but I got him off of Craigslist when he was 14 weeks old. He's currently 10 months old and weighs in at just under 21 lbs. I think he's a runt based on his current weight and smallish skull. But it'd be great if he stays looking like a puppy. Anyway, George is a city dog through and through. We live on the Upper West Side a 1/2 block from Central Park, and his absolute favorite thing is off-leash hours before 9 am and after 9 pm. Biggest. Back. Yard. Ever. He's ball and frisbee obsessed, and an absolute love-bug.

Re: Tomorrow's Riverside Corgi Convention

Not usually a morning person, especially on the weekends, but 10 am should be doable. Just can't drink too much tonight =) Pretty psyched to go, hopefully there's a good turnout. I see some others here have also confirmed they are going to attend. Whenever I walk around NYC, I always get the "we never see Corgi's around" comment from people. And I observe the same phenomenon, as I only see perhaps one other Corgi every other month or so. It'll be hilarious to see an entire gaggle of them… Continue

Just discovered MyCorgi.com...

... and this site is a riot. Love reading and looking at all the other Corgi's, and reading about their owners' experiences with them.

I was just randomly Googling Corgi stuff when I came across this site. Coincidentally enough, there is a Welsh Corgi Convention at Riverside park in 3 days (I live only a few blocks from there). LMAO. Should be funny as hell. Send me a message if you'll be there as well!… Continue

Thanks Dave! We actually recently relocated to San Francisco, so I guess we will be searching for a few off-leash parks out here. Although surprisingly it seems like there are a bunch! It will be interesting checking them all out.

Hope George is doing well!

Hi Dave and George,

Just wanted to say hello as we're also in NYC. We have yet to do the off-leash hours at Central Park because we mainly have been hitting up the Gracie Mansion park, however I will have to bring Linus over there now hearing how fun it is.

Thanks for your photo comment! I love your feet picture, by the way. You can certainly tell those are corgi feet. Your George looks like such the comedian. =3

Wow, your George looks so much like our Sidney, even with one white "sock" being a little taller than the others! What a cutie!

Sid is 11 months old and about 22 pounds, so George doesn't sound like a runt to me. Looking forward to more cool pics.
