"I realize this is an old thread but am going to revive it, as Tucker has really itchy armpits.  I was going to use gold bond powder but afraid that if he likes his armpits afterwards, that cant be good for him.  I guess I will have to use…"

"The recipe I got off the Corgi-L list I think, said to bake them 90 min at 250 and then flip them over and bake 90 min more. I've learned that when they get browned during that 2nd 90 min baking time, they are prolly done.  Thanks for the…"

"Anne this is so awesome - it isn't easy to get a corgi to loose weight from 40 to 29 - WOW! great job!. I know, I have Sophie on a weight reduction program, she's lost 5 lbs and I want to try and get another 2-3 pounds off of her."

"I have discovered Zuke's doggie treats. They are natural and healthy - made in the USA. www.zukes.com. Our local Petco carries a few of the items and we have another store that is beginning to carry the baked snacks and a bigger selection. The…"

About Me:
Our boss is a sweet loving corgi named Milo. Milo is originally from Pennsylvania and we have been working for him since he was 8 weeks old. We are devoted fans of Milo. He can be a bit demanding but he pays well. He gives lots of affection, licks, and hugs. Since our work environment is pretty laid back, we often go out for walks and to the park to bond.

We just love corgis in general and always stop to say hello if we see any. We also collect all corgi memorabilia including corgi cups, toys, bobble heads, snacks, puzzles, magazines, etc. Yes, we're obsessed.

No
About My Corgi(s):
Milo is a very handsome red and white 2 year old corgi. He has the sweetest and brightest eyes and the best hearing skills ever. Alert and bright, he can definitely be a handful sometimes. However, he's always smiling and giving us a silly look.

Corgis are known to be Queen Elizabeth's favorite and no wonder. They're bright and loyal. Milo's tricks and specialties include: roll over, "thank you," give hand, shake on command, lie down, bark on command, stand, stay, come, toss a treat from his nose and catch it in his mouth, play fetch/ball, and will wait for food very close to his mouth until we say GO and he eats it. He is even more adorable when we catch him doing the "flying squirrel" position. Milo is continuously learning new tricks and never ceases to amaze us.

But one of the most special things he does is always greeting us with enormous licks and kisses when we come home. He's very attentive to our feelings and can sense when we're happy or sad. He is definitely a treasure and a best friend.

Milo is on Facebook!

Posted on June 25, 2009 at 3:44pm 1 Comment

Funny how Milo is more popular than us on Facebook! After we got Milo on Facebook, our friends started to put their dogs on Facebook. He is one PUPULAR dog. =)

Ever since having Milo, we have known more dog-friendly people. We have had strangers stop us in the park/street and asked us curiously what Milo's breed is. I think the Corgi breed is growing in popularity! I would really want to see more and more corgis around. Everytime we bump into a corgi in the street, we always say hi… Continue

Busy and hectic but never too busy for Milo

Posted on May 18, 2009 at 3:12pm 0 Comments

So, mommy and daddy are both very busy and tired these days from house shopping to big planning. But, we're never too busy for Milo. The weather is gettig warmer so we intend to play more Frisbees with Milo, go for more walks, and enjoy the outdoors more. Even with this house hunting, we're thinking of getting a bigger home with a nice sized backyard just for Milo. Why? So he can enjoy Frisbees and frolicks outside more.

Winter in NY is definitely long and harsh. But Milo is a hearty… Continue

After Tokyo...

Posted on March 18, 2009 at 10:07am 6 Comments

My husband and I went to Tokyo for a few weeks. Milo was at home with the grandparents for over 2 weeks. He is known to go up to our photo and whimper or growl - this means he misses us. He's asking where we are. He mostly does this with my husband's photo because he travels more frequently.

We decided to tell the grandparents to take the dogs to the yard so we can slowly enter the house without them noticing. We were waiting in the kitchen for 5 minutes until they came up. Guess… Continue

Yes! We were just there this past Saturday during the off-leash hours (we had a training session with Dani from Urban K-9). It's really cool with all the dogs running around. We're planning on going every weekend when possible to work on Dash's training. Can't wait for it to warm up and see if Dash will go for a swim in the pond. What's the other place (north of the gwb on the palisades) like?

Hi, you're in Tokyo? My corgis, KOGI and WEL, are live in Hachioji, the western suburbs of Tokyo. Corgis are very popular in Japan and you can see some during your stay here. :)

Hi! thanks for the note. No, actually we didn't get to the meetup, mainly because we were busy moving cross country to San Francisco. So now we'll be looking for SF-based meetups, I guess!

How is Milo doing? :) I've heard it's been pretty chilly in NYC. It has been in the 80s here this week. Craziness.

Regarding the breeder, this is her site http://dalarno.com/

she is a very nice person! I did not have any problems, and really satisfied with the experience.

Hi Milo! I'm not too far away from you..I started the NY Corgi group but seems that I was the furthest south in Westchester (mount kisco) until you!
My owners moved here from Manhattan with their 8 yr old about 4 years ago and I love the open space! Where in Queens are you?
