I subscribe to the ASPCA newsletter and this heading caught my eye. I looked at what breeds were in the Puppy Mill and 'lo and behold, they said they found corgis. I'm glad that the ASPCA was finally able to step in and get these animals out. Unfortunately, it looks like they were a little too late for some of the dogs.

I was stunned this morning when I read this news on the New York Times website: Large Dogs in Public Housing Are Now Endangered Species. Izzie has been scratching herself constantly lately. I even try to give her half a Benadryl but that only seems to help her for maybe an hour and then she's back to scratching her neck or biting at her paws. My poor baby. She doesn't seem to be breaking skin or making herself bleed.
