Kara is working hard on her training. She is great at sit.In fact today my kids came home from school. I said to my son "Hey Caleb, do u want Kara to sit with you?" All of a sudden she sat at my feet and looked at me licking her lips! LOL What a good girl, even just hearing the word in conversation triggered her to do it. Kara is such a lover. She really isn't overly fond of her toys, and she has quite the variety. I am wondering if this will change as she gets older or if some dogs are just not interested in toys much. I really want to teach her to play fetch, it's something my kids would play with her quite often. My original breeders dogs would play fetch with the kiddos all day if they could and they all had so much fun. It tired out both the dogs and the kids! LOL. Well, today is day 4 with Kara. It's so funny, the first 2 days she was so laid back I thought it was a miracle! Now she's developed into this little tazmanian devil, racing through the house and the yard like her nubby tail is on fire! She's quite the people "person". Well, yesterday was May 16, 2008. The day Kara Jayne joined our family of 5. (7 if you count the cats). The older 2 kids headed off to school, the toddler to daycare and Chris and I made the 2 1/2 hour drive to Adams, NY where we met Kara, her 2 sisters, brother, and parents.
