kaijuu has a bad habit of bringing oily pig ears to his bed/crate.

so im at my desk, and i say to him [in vietnamese]

kaijuu, no...don't eat in your bed.

guess what he does?

he drags the pig ear out of bed, and brings it to my table and is chowing it down ...

now if only he understood japanese and chinese too. that be great! =)

i recently decided that i wanted to train him with clickers because he is only treat driven .. so i figured operant conditioning will work ...



i clicked it. and he got so scared. and basically i tried to do give him treats and everything after every click with a command, sorta worked until he started to run away from me!



he finally wanted to go outside, and ZIPPED outside. and i find him on the side of the garage side door. i call for him and he won't come to me… Continue

I honestly tried to make him lay down for quite some time .. until recently he was in favor of laying down .. .and just today, did BANG! haha he lays over on his side and stays still :]

he even learned to handshake on the same day!!!


is it bad to call ur dog puppy even if its 1.5 years old? haha :[ forever be my puppy

i think my dog has conjunctivitis .. hes getting white pus coming out of the inner eye =(

poor thing, too bad the doctor closed about an hour ago, sigh. i gotta wait 12 hours before i can call the vet and take him in for a check up.


hrm, he has conjunctivities. doctor gave him some bacitrin/neomycin/polymyxic + hydrocortisone opthalmic oinyment - its better already!

i finally took kaijuu to a dog park .. yes i know i should have done it sooner, but the occasion just never arised!



turns out i was worrying over nothing. he was sooo friendly with all the other "under 40lbs" dog (separate areas for big and lil dogs). he greeted every body and every dog ... not to mention he was quite the hunk for the other cute girl corgi ;)



i wish the dog park i took him too had more shade and real grass!!! it was just astro turf ...

10:00 am i woke up this morning with my dad informing me "you need to take kaijuu to the vet" and believe me, this must be really serious in order for my dad say that, usually its "oh he will alright ... just pediatric dose him with something"

i get this random message from a person i know "YOUR DOG IS UGLY" ?!?! what kind of statement is that?! i hate cats (not to mention allergic to them) but do i tell him his cat is ugly? no because the cat means the whole wide world to him, so i wont be that mean!



how can kaijuu be ugly! hes so adorable, affectionate, a lil rascal and a much better companion too!

i went to the corgi fair last year (dixon, ca) and i noticed that kaijuu is puny compared to those other corgis (both pems and cardis)



and i noticed a lot of owners on this site that have dogs that arent so fat/chubby~



kaijuu was 25lbs after he was neutered, and perhaps 30lbs now. but i think its because hes so muscular? its not FAT thats on him, its just muscle weight .. or am i lying to myself?

Its ridiculous hot lately, and I feel so bad for Kaijuu! he keeps panting hectically because of the weather, He is indoors all day long, and its much cooler inside than outside. I try to make him drink more water to cool down, but he doesn't understand ..


so how do you keep your dog cool :P
