Hot Weather in California! how to keep kaijuu cool?
Its ridiculous hot lately, and I feel so bad for Kaijuu! he keeps panting hectically because of the weather, He is indoors all day long, and its much cooler inside than outside. I try to make him drink more water to cool down, but he doesn't understand ..
so how do you keep your dog cool :P

haha i notice your in the bay area too? Yes... i don't remember when it's ever gotten so hot here! San Francisco neverrrrrrr gets this hot and it was 97 yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bailey hates it too. I just drop a few ice cubes in his water to keep it cold, I mixed some cold yogurt into his kibble and... yepp ice cubes for him to nibble on - and i wiped him down with a really cool towel after our walk.... and just a lot of down time!

I bought this thing at a pet store awhile ago that really helps. I don't know it's name, but it is like a bandana but has somethings inside it that absorbs water (sort of like disposable diaper material). You soak it in cold water for a few minutes and put it around their neck. It helps a lot! Hope it cools down soon.
