He's here! And I don't have a name.
After 12 years of waiting and 6 months of preparations, my first corgi ever is here. We brought him home at noon, played a little, no whining, lots of fun. Right now he's sleeping under the table in our garden, even our neighbours mowing the grass don't disturb him. So everything's going fine, we are really happy to have our boy finally home. The only problem is his name. The breeder named him Fergi, but I had something else in my mind. Now, looking at him, I'm not sure if the name I came with suits him. Yep, I'll have to sleep on it. Hopefully, I'll be decided tomorow.

Deciding on a name that will stick for the rest of their lives is hard! When I picked up the 2nd pup last week I didn't know what to call him. Friends had their own ideas but I just couldn't decide. Since he couldn't be nameless he was called "Turtle" for the first 5days. We tried many different names and the one he kept responding to was Scott. It was perfect because I wanted an "S" name.

Such a cute little guy...I actually found the MyCorgi website when I was doing a search for puppy names. Our little red/white girl is named Fergie--named after Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York...His personality will help you. When we brought our youngest Corgi home I had a list of possible names, but ended up with something new that just fit.

Adorable! We had other names picked out, too, before we brought Grover home. In the car ride home though, we realized all our names didn't fit him. Grover wasn't even a name we'd talked about much...then it just fit!

They really have no idea what their name is for at least a week, they just respond to the "cute" voice. So why not wait it out and see what you end up calling him?

There are different websites with names. You can also wait a couple of days, corgis usually have very unique traits and characteristics that will make you love them more. Get to know yours and you will find the right name. You can also make it a family affair and get everybody to help you and vote for a name. No matter what name, he will surely bring tons of fun to your life.

How fun !He is really cute! Hey,you might try using a couple different names you like,call him ,talk to him and see how they sound and feel when you say them and do they seem to fit him.Good luck !
