So today Lance and I took a short walk before I had to go to work. We came back and sat on the front porch for a little while and down the block is a lady pushing a wheel chair. Lance was watching the whole time. He started to bark and I told him to settle down and he did. They get to our house and Lance so badly wants to go say hello, so I got up and tried to have him walk to them, but he wanted no part of that. He dragged me to the new people and very politely said hello, not barking once. Good boy, Lance. He is such the barker usually. We said hello for a little while as the new people seemed to be enjoying Lance. They loved his eyes and coloring. I was so happy and proud that he wasnt barking at them instead he was wagging his tail and of course sniffing for other doggies and licking them. I was so proud because usually when he isnt sure of something new he will bark. He is not accustomed to seeing wheelchairs or big sunglasses that the lady in the wheelchair was wearing. Just last week we saw them across the street and he was barking away of course wagging his tail and couldnt get him to stop. He thinks that everyone should come say hello to him! Lance got a couple pieces of food as a reward for making Mommy proud, I hope he keeps up the good work!

Oh yeah and I forgot to add that when we went for our short walk, we got to the end of the block where his two pals live and he usually always barks and barks well today he didnt bark, he was so cute......he was whining and pulling at the same time, it was the cutest....he loves playing with his friends....of course I wish he wasnt pulling but the not barking is a great step.....I think all of the training is paying off! He hopefully is maturing since he will be 3 at the end of October.....I hear it takes boys longer to mature, hehe!! I believe it!!!!
