Okay, I must first say I, in no way shape or form, intend to offend anyone that follows specific showdog standards. I must, however, salute any breeder that actually charges MORE for blueies/fluffies, instead of less as if they are an insult. Same with people, I believe the different ones are the ones you remember, and the ones that leave a great impression. By charging more, breeders show they are celebrating differences, not treating them as a 'faulty'.

And must I say, I have seen some absolutely gorgeous pictures on here of blueies/fluffies on this site. Congratsolations, moms and dads! You have some truly special kids on your hands. ;]

I don't think breeders should charge any more or less for fluffies, bluies, etc. than they would for a regular corgi. Shippo was the same price as his non-fluffy littermates, some of which were sold into show homes, and that's exactly the way I think it should be.

I adore my blueie- he is a wonder. It's kinda funny what you said, my friend (the breeder) kinda laughed and said she didn't know if she should charge more cause he was so unique or less because he didn't meet standard (when it came down to it she gave him to me for my birthday). I got him because in no way was I planning on showing- and she thought he would work best in our family (she was sooo right). He makes an impression everywhere he goes- people are impressed with how unique he is.

Julia- a blueie isn't black- he's a gray color. Zim was gunmetal gray as a pup but has since darkened to a dark dark gray (almost looks black). He has grayish colored eyes and his nose and around his eyes isn't black it's a more liver color. I think he's gorgeous, I wouldn't care if he was polka dotted.

Tenly, I would love to have a "fluffy" I was told by my breeder that they were an anomoly and that she has a lot of requests for them. I love my little nick but my breeder has two male fluffies right now and if we could have one I would take one in a heart beat. I did not know about the "bluie" can you tell me more of what they look like?
