Last night I ran to Petco to get Lances dog food as very few places around me sell his food. I decided it would be
a good idea to bring Lance with for some fun! Wow did he have fun, all those smells going into Petco and Petsmart he barely noticed all the people around....that is not like Lance at all! I guess the doggie smells were more interesting at
the time. We were in and out of Petco as we were just there to get his food, not to many dogs there either which
is the norm and I just dont understand that. I think people perfer Petsmart over Petco, I know I do! A little girl in Petco was so excited to see Lance and he was so interested in the food that he once again didnt realize he had someone that wanted to pay attention to him. He did let the little girl pet him and loved it though but he was on a mission with all those smells! Ok so off we went to Petsmart, wow, more dog smells, this is awesome Mom!! We ran into 2 people who knew Lance was a corgi but not a cardigan welsh corgi and they just adored him. One lady dog sat her neighbors pembroke corgi and the other was a Petsmart associate who was really giving Lance alot of attention, at one point I had to let her know that the cashier was calling her for help (we were standing in front of the cashiers in the toy aisle) She went to do what she needed to do and quickly came back to see Lance!! There were more dogs at Petsmart as there usually are..... We practiced our sit and stay....and leave it commands with the other dogs and he did really great. He only got caught up in his barking once when he heard a bunch of other dogs barking but I quickly was able to distract him with cut up carrots (we brought along) Cut up carrots are his favorite treat now.....he lovessssssssssssss them!!! It was so much fun getting to go and smell everything and see all the people. Mom is going to have to bring me back more often, these places are great!!! I cant wait till Mom brings me back!!!!
