The foster momma was kind enough to send me some more pictures of my ever growing pup, so I thought I would share with all my corgi friends!
Still two pups waiting to be adopted then the mom can be placed as well.

I'm taking bets on what the mystery breed is. We know the mom is a BHT pembroke... but who is this mystery father?

Any breeders of dog savvy people out there willing to take a wager? :P

My husband and I are having so much fun with the "pick a breed" game. Nothing wrong with adopting a mutt, so make a game of it!

I have been reading of several "designer" dog breeders in the area the momma was found that "specialize" in Dorgi, and Auggi mixes.

Andrew- I sent you a friend request with the fosters information. There are still 2 pups available, one merle like mine (you can see her in a few of the pics she is a tad smaller) and a mostly black with tan markings (I think it looks like an itty bitty rottweiler in color)

3 puppies down, 2 to go

Andrew, the foster mom is a MyCorgi member. Her latest blog post about the pups is above.

Can you place me in contact with the foster mom? You say there are still two pups to be adopted???? I am extremely interested in getting one if there are any left!

Wow, what a beautiful pup!!! Love the markings and what a precious face. I agree with the dad possibly being an Australian Shephard or Cattle dog but how about a Catahoula Leopard dog? They have similar markings, just another thought.

This pupster is definitely a cross between 'cute' and 'adorable'!

You can get DNA breed test kits for $50...swab the cheeks and send it back in for analysis...will get results within a couple of weeks. You can get them at alot of pet stores or online sites like valley vet, Lambert Vet Supply, Dr. Foster & Smith, etc.

My guess is Australian Cattle Dog or some kind of Cattle Dog mix. They don't look quite right for Aussie to me, but a Cattle Dog I would totally believe.

Good call on the feet! I thought that was a corgi thing, Roslyn has quite large feet for her size. Now I am excited to get a DNA test done. Does anyone know of the best kit to buy? I know there are several and they all have different prices.

I'd say cattle dog or perhaps an Aussie, though the coat looks wrong.   Dappled dachsund is a possibility, but they are not that common.    I agree that the paws lead me to believe the pup will get a bit larger than one would expect from a Dachsund/Corgi mix.

So cute!  Good luck.  If it were me, I'd be so curious I'd do the DNA test.

I'm thinking it's an Auggi.
