So Buddy has been showing some little boy tendancies during the past few months. Our breeder and vet recommended that we wait until he turned 8 months old to neuter so he would have a little more time to develope. Well we haven't really taken Buddy to the dog park in months and have been avoiding dogs in general because we don't want to have any "mishaps" with another female dog.

Well last night we went for a walk and despite waiting until almost 9pm, it was still 100 degrees outside, or atleast it felt like it. Neither of us were enjoying the walk until we met two female dogs, one was a pug and one was a doberman mix that was 4 months old.

Oh. my. goodness. He was a little put off by the doberman puppy energy but it was like a somewhere in his brain a light came on and he fell in love, well maybe not love but infatuation. He didn't really care for the pug but he seemed to like the puppy. Needless to say things got a little awkward and we had to walk away with what little dignity we had left lol. Nothing serious happened, but Buddy was on a mission.

We continued our walk with no problems... I wasn't really paying attention to which street we turned down but we sure enough, Buddy lead us strait to his new little girlfriends house and she was still outside.

Now we are counting the days until he gets neutered next friday!
