update 9/28 : Wynn's sutures are open...waiting for the vet to get back and then we are going in...NOT an emergency but can't wait till the AM:(
Vet visit: Super sedated for the next 4-5 days...huge cone head too:( After he tore out several of the staples right after the vet had put them in the vet decided that to put him on a major med and more pain pills as he had just finished his last one tonight. I was going to put him in the big lab kennel tonight but I feel so bad for him plus getting his back end in and front facing forward didn't seem like something I wanted to struggle with tonight. I will sleep on the couch with him on the floor next to me...
Livvy and Wynn spent much of the day in the vet's office today. Livvy got spayed and had a quite a few of what they called "bleeders" plus her hernia taken care of. Livvy has a large incision but is doing well.
Wynn was neutered (prostate problems) and when I asked if they could clean his teeth the vet thought they looked in good shape so he said "yes" well...Wynn is now minus a molar. Wynn is hanging out but resting QUIETLY...not his normal loud self...
I think they are as glad to be home as I am to have them home. Here they are on the way home...didn't want to kennel them is a small crate!

Poor babies! Speedy recovery!!
Glad to hear they are more their normal selves today. Yeah, hard to keep a corgi quiet. Had a heck of a time keeping Katie from jumping in my lap when she was spayed. And try keeping a year old cat confined for 2 months with the cone on after major reconstructive surgery. Good grief!
I'm glad they are better today!!
Wynn has found his voice again...both are more active and I will have to really watch Liv due to her double surgery...balls are "out of sight" for at least a few weeks!
I hope the sweet babies continue a good recovery and that all of you get back to better days as soon as possible.
Poor pups! They should be good as new in a few days.
ah, poor babies... Rough day! Though I guess it might be easier to keep them both quiet if they both aren't their most energetic at the same time ;->
Hoping they both have a quick recovery and back to their normal corgi selves soon.
There's nothing like home.... and having them home. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Whew, glad that is over. Hope they are frapping soon :)
