Hi Judi,
Just wondering how you, Cookie and your family are? Cookie's home now? Hope everything is going as well as it can be.
We had an older dog a long time ago, who broke his back leg jumping out of a truck in the woods. Had a cast and pins in his leg for months, with an aluminum frame around the cast. We lived in a large country parcel that was paved on half of it. He would run, even with his cast on, just as normal up to the road whenever someone came or stopped in the driveway. He actually wore through three of the aluminum frames and bottoms of the casts before his leg actually healed enough to take it off. Just to give you a smile and maybe a laugh about how dogs look at life.
Dogs are amazingly resilient and adaptable.
You're in our prayers and thoughts,
Cathi
Hi Judi,
So nice to hear that Cookie's surgery went well! Keep us posted during her recoup time. I'm sure it will go well and everything will work out just fine.
Hi Judi; just got Jenni's note and knew what happened for Cookie. I'm glad the surgery went well, Cookie is a very cute girl, I'm not surprised if she is very active too. does it make Corgi lovely. The recovery will be long and probably difficult for an acitvie corgi, like Cookie to keep mellow, will be more difficult for a loving Mom to do so too. Hope everything goes well for the family.
