Corgis Go Swimming Photo Diary
Lovely late summer day, my husband and I were both off work, so we took the Corgis swimming. Or I should say we took Maddie swimming and Jack wading. And thanks to my husband who forded a stream, crossed a sand bar, balanced on logs across a boggy bit, and waded up to his thighs to get a toy that floated away....

Poor Maddie is paying the price for overdoing it with the swimming; she's a little gimpy tonight. Yes, she can swim like a little fish and she loves it. No splashing, no frantic "dog paddle", she uses all four legs and swims very gracefully.
Jack, on the other hand, is horrified by the very thought. The toy that floated away got lost because Maddie didn't see it going out, and Jack saw it but won't go in higher than his chest!

I LOVE to see those corgis swim! It seems almost impossible, a sentiment with which Jack may agree. But boy, can those little legs paddle!
