I just got antlers today for bootsie and superstar....they ignored it! but hopefully they will work it!

Derek, you could ask...I think it was GoGoRainbow, who got some fresh antlers from a father or uncle, for Pooka.

Wow!! that is one huge antler! We have a couple for Soffie and Griffyn but they are only about 5 inches long! ..... and ok, here comes the "worrier" in me, hope Nutmeg doesn't try to run with it, she could poke her eye out!! Oh my gosh... echoes of my mother in my ears!!! LOL!!!

I have heard people talking about these deer antlers, but I never believed it. Morgan is a chew-a-holic and my father is a hunter. Maybe he can acquire some for me from one of his freinds. A little buck who is not worth mounting or something. Has anyone handled fresh antlers before??? Should I boil them to kill any germs or is that over thinking it?

I'm so sad because Eddy ignores his antlers. Just today he finally scraped off a bit of the outside and has become interested, but will not chew them. :'(
