So, ever since I brought Lilly home, she and my daughters Corgi Ein, have growled and jumped at my cat DeeDee.  Well, I woke this morning and DeeDee had passed away.  She wasnt sick, never displayed any strange behavior.  So my daughter and I are just wondering if maybe the Corgi's knew something was wrong with her.  It is a sad day, but the bunny butts are doing everything they can too cheer me up, and she went very peacefully, and quickly.

I do believe they know that something is amiss.  My dogs would always act differently and aggressive towards my husky before she had seizures.  Medical science proves they can anticipate seizures, sniff out cancer, etc.  I do believe that God gave them many talents we just can't or refuse to see.

I am so sorry for your loss.  As painful as it is for us to not be able to say good-bye, it is best for her that she didn't suffer.  She is happy and free from all pain now, running in Rainbow Field, at Rainbow Bridge.

Hi Donna--so sorry for your loss.  I think it is entirely possible the corgis sensed something was different. I know all dogs are sensitive to scents, but it seem like my corgis are hyper-sensitive to smells, so maybe the cat smelled different to them?
