I don't know why but Romeo has been farting alot lately near me. He doesn't make any sounds but HE def FARTED. IT SMELLS AWFUL!! He doesn't even look at me when he did it. He acts like nothing happened, but once in a while he farts and leaves the room. Is Romeo the only dog who acts like this?

Maggie as a puppy had the worst gas, it was awful, horrible, beyond belief. My thought was, if the United States could harness her vapors, they could be used as a force against our enemies. The thing is with these gas attacks is, forgive me, they will pass. Must have been caused by something that was eaten.

You should experience our dobe, Misty's. She has had three surgeries on stomach obstructions so has a "delicate" tummy. She can clear a very large room with out noticing a thing!

LOL! I totally understand! Chloe did it more when she was a little younger, we slowly changed her food and they seemed to stop or at least were not nearly as often. We just got Lou at 7 months old and his previous owner did not keep him on a consistant food. His gas is AWFUL! We are getting his stomach adjusted to a new food and hope his "smells" will die down like Chloe's did!

Hahaha, yes! Our boy does this and after he farts, he'll sniff towards his rear....then usually either a) walk away or b) just lay there like nothing happened! Ha ha ha ha! IT is funny though.

Potus does this too!! He's like a silent killer- we have left rooms because of him.

YES! I can relate! Doesn't it feel like the smell lingers forever?!
Steve likes to sleep on top of the pillow next to me and for some reason his butt is always facing me and wouldn't you know it.... Sometimes it's so bad he sniffs the air and goes to the foot of the bed. As bad as it smells I start to laugh out loud every time cuz it's funny.
The boys have more gas when they eat brocolli or grean beans.

Haha, that's what dogs do. And they don't know that farts are gross or embarassing, so they won't acknowledge the fact that they passed gas.

lol i don't want him to not to fart. It just funny. Once in awhile it smells so bad that i think he can't take it and leaves the room.

Loki has gas from time to time, generally happens with dogs. As for not looking at you, its just bodily function, and they didn't make a mess so it generally doesn't bother them unless you can somehow catch it everytime and make them think it is something terrible. Then your dog might explode.
