Thank you for suggesting Musher's Secret and Pawz. I think I will try the Musher's Secret first since it's meant for those who "choose not to wear boots". I really appreciate your prompt reply - 'tis the season and Corgis are too bulky to carry around when their feet get cold and sore!
I'm looking at the patch of white and a little brown near the foreground of the photo. Could it be a Corgi??

What a beautiful pic. And I'm looking at it thinking "I'm not familiar with Pacific Northwest fauna, but I sure hope that's native cuz here in the East, a big field of anything like that would surely be invasive".
