So I woke up extra early this morning to take Buddy to the dog park for the first time in nearly 2 months! He hasn't been since he started expressing "ungentlemanly" behavior. Well he's fully recovered from his neuter and got his stitches out a couple days ago. I was chomping at the bit to take him to the dog park, I think i love it just as much as he does!

When we got there, he was a little unsure for the first couple minutes but quickly warmed up to all the pugs! I swear there were 6-8 pugs there lol. Well we were making our way through saying hello to everyone, when I spotted a corgi! We have only seen another corgi one other time and it was on our fist visit to the dog park when Buddy was still a little puppy. We proceeded to run to the corgi and say hi. I met the owner who was a very nice guy and learned that our new corgi friend is named Griffin. Griffin and Buddy would not hold still long enough for me to take a picture, but I got one!

Well Griffin's owner proceeded to tell me that there is going to be a corgi meet-up next Saturday, and I am so excited! Buddy and Grififn played for a few minutes, but Buddy eventually decided to start herding all the pugs.

All in all it was an excellent re-introduction into the dog park world, and now I have a very tired corgi!

We can't wait to go back next weekend and meet more corgis and see our new friend Griffin!
