First Obedience Class for Misty

Well just got back from Misty' s first Obedience class in 5 years and she did great! Misty is my Honorary Corgi (actually she is a doberman) and really needs a refresher. She did so well two people asked if we were there just practicing for competition!! I have been thinking about competing with Sparty or Izzy but really did not think Misty could do it. Anyway I am thrilled because it means I can work with her to be better on the leash. It is tough to walk a 70 lb dog that isn't listening so Good for Misty!

Honestly of all the dog-training things I have the hardest time with leash manners because I am not consistent enough. I know it's all my fault. LOL I prefer to have fun on my walk instead of enforcing obedience, and it sorta shows.
