So, I had to take Beavis and Butthead to the groomers for a bath and blowdry. A few days ago they jumped in the bathtub with me - weirdos - and I noticed last night that they were both a little itchy. After looking them over it occurred to me that the bubble bath I had in my bath probably made them itchy. The temperature here today is a brisk 13 degrees WITHOUT the wind chill and it's snowing, so I didn't want to bathe them here risking they might get too cold.

I dropped them off a few minutes ago and they told me to return about 3:30 to pick them up. I came home to an empty house for the first time since I got Goldy in October and I can't believe how empty the house seems without them. I know it's only a couple of hours, but it just made me realize how much I LOVE having them.

I laughed when I saw Beavis and Butthead! I call mine Dumb and Dumber sometimes! When we go to Florida in November for two weeks each November I always miss the dogs so much. My In laws condo seems way too quiet and there is no hair. Hope they are good for the groomer.

Aww, that was sweet. I can't imagine coming home to no doggies! Even when we're on vacation and they are at "sleepover camp", I drop the family and the luggage at the door and race to the kennel to get them ASAP. It would just seem too weird to go into the house without those happy furry faces greeting me!
