I can't help giggling to myself as I watch my husband and our little Puck lounging together on the recliner. They are both engrossed in the current football game. Puck looks so observant! His head moves as the players move and he really seems to be watching the game. I wonder which team he is rooting for? My husband would say he's rooting for the Vikings. :)

U.W. had a 0-11 season after they got rid of all the rapists and felons and armed robbers from the 2001 Rose Bowl Team ("Victory and Ruins", Seattle Times). One of our stars abandoned 4 starved and abused pit bulls in his back yard after the Rose Bowl championship (Go Dawgs!). So I think it's time to change the mascot from UW Huskies to UW Corgwyn (apologies to Dubs, the adorable new 'husky' mascot, actually a malamute, another fraud). Corgis may not be the most vicious dawgs, but hey, that's the point! The team doesn't have to retain a criminal lawyer to keep the players out of jail (not making this up; they did exactly that).

Potus loves to watch sport too- though he has a case of ADD I think and won't watch for longer then a couple of minutes (though he'll come back to watch it again later). He likes to watch Australian football, the balls always moving and there's always someone rushing around on screen.

As a Nordic dog, of course a Corgi would root for the Vikings!
