Our routine is Zoom Groom first, then a quick once over with the furminator. Lulu likes the zoom groom better, I think the furminator may pull the hairs a bit?

Just furminated my Teddy who is blowing his coat and got a small garbage can full:)

I wasn't impressed with the furminator too. Fortunately, I got it on amazon for $15. Could've probably got it for cheaper but, I feel safer shopping with amazon and they had the (at that time) if you purchase up to $25, shipping is free. So, I got the zoom groom and various other items.

I must say I really like the zoom groom though. Much, much more than I like the furminator.

I have the medium size furminator and I love it. I get good results.

If he's still a puppy you're not going to see much. It's generally meant for adult dogs that are blowing their coat.

we bought a furmanator also we have only used it a couple of times as oscar is only 8months old but I think it does what it is meant to do better than a normal dog brush

I love the furminator but don't use it unless there's several loose hair or my corgis are "blowing their coat". Then it does what they are suppose to do. Regular brushing and or weekly furminating is OK but not something you want to use all the time. It does remove deep down hair. How old is your Corgi...if he/she is still young you won't appreciate what this does until your corgi is older and has a full coat.
