Hannah graduated from puppy class this week! I'm so proud of her. =D

(She was a tad bit annoyed by the hat!)

I'm hoping to get her into some agility classes before the end of the year, if time allows. The only vet office here in town recently opened up a 1.5 acre of property to be used as a dog park, and they also have a full agility course. It's free to the public, and they also offer the agility training. There are no dog parks close (and convenient) enough to me to justify paying the membership fee, so I'm really glad that this is available to us!

I also graduated this week! Today, in fact. I not have a Bachelor's in social work. I already started a new job about a month ago, which is going great. I go back to school later this month for the Master's program, and in only 3 more semesters, I'll have my MSW!

Time is flying by, and Hannah will be 9 months old in a few days. My little girl is growing too fast!

I did laugh at the comment about the grad hat. When I taught classes at PetSmart, the hat was always a trick. I got some funny pics of dogs and hats!

Beth-Thank you for bringing that up. I neglected to consider that. I'm thinking that I probably won't be able to get her enrolled this time around with my schedule being so crazy, but I will definitely talk to my vet about it before I do!

Nancy-Good luck with the classes! I think the best thing you can do is practice, practice, practice throughout the week. It's a great way to socialize your pup, too!

Congrats. We just enrolled Harley in puppy class, and we went to our first class today.

Hooray for the two of you! Just be careful before starting to jump her at agility; you want to wait until her growth plates are all closed up, from what I hear. That happens different times for different dogs, but she may still be a bit young to be jumping. I would check with the vet. She can still do tunnels and stuff, of course.

She looks so cute in her hat! :-)
