Great Toy For Corgis - Kong Jumbler Football Toy

Hey guys! Not sure how many of you out there have a corgi that loves to de-squeak, de-fluff or just tear apart their toys, but my dog Gizmo does and it has become quite the wasteful hobby buying him squeaky toys. Most products last no more than 15 minutes with him.

Anyways, I started having Gizmo try out some toys as a part of a weekly product review column I write for my job. We had yet to find a winner, until I stumbled across the Kong Jumbler Football Toy. I can't recommend it enough. He's had it for almost three weeks now and hasn't been able to penetrate it, destroy it or de-squeak it. It's a little bit pricy at $16, but definitely worth it.

Comment by Laura Toops on February 9, 2015 at 6:47pm: Rosie the Corgi is less of a problem with squeaker toys than Ralph the Dachshund/terror mix. He just eviscerates everything. I have had great luck with the furry Kong footballs. Kong toys are expensive but definitely worth the money. I will never buy another stuffed toy. They barely last a day.

Sully doesn't really chew toys but she does like chew treats. I hope this one might hold her interest and be a less expensive alternative to dental sticks and bully sticks. It looks soft enough to be a good, safe chew. Thanks again!

I only buy her hard rubber toys now, Kong is one brand. Those are the only ones she can't destroy. I also buy her 3/4 inch x 6 ft nylon rope and tie a few knots in it. She loves to play tug o war.
