We are having a much better year this Fall. Happy Fall my corgi friends! I am still in remission and starting to feel like my old self. Watson is doing great in classes, we just have to figure out how to transfer it into the real world. He still just becomes a wiggly, licky, jumper when greeting people. He learns very fast and loves to play fetch. We are enjoying our walks in the woods and the bug free cooler weather. We have plans to take our motor home to Florida this year and we are going to the Florida Corgi picnic. I'm really looking forward to it and appreciate my husband being willing to go. Hope to meet many of our on line corgi friends. We don't go to many events because Izzy really has no interest in other dogs and Watson's excitement level becomes unmanageable in multiple dog situations. He is a whopping 38 lbs so can be difficult to hold. He does pretty well in classes so I think we will manage. I can't believe he will be two in January! Time goes so fast! Hug your corgis!

Yes Watson turns two in January and I'm hoping he starts to mature. When it is just us he is great and he was great in classes too. Fortunately the problem is his excitement to meet new people and dogs. Although he is afraid of strange dogs. Normally he is a cuddely playful companion.
We leave tomorrow to drive our motor home to Florida. In addition to visiting a lot of friends in the Villages we are going to the Florida Corgi Picnic. It sounds like a huge fun event and im excited! We are going to see other corgi friends as well.
You're looking terrific. So glad to see you, Watson and Izzy. Just remember 2 is the operative word here. Remember my crazy boy Ricky-Rafa aka The Rafanator. Shortly after turning 2 he turned a big corner with his behavior. He's become a rock-steady Romeo of a Corgi. He has kept Lucy a very young 10. She still looks like a puppy. Can't wait to hear about all your adventures on the road to FL. And keep the faith in Watson. He will not let you down. xoxo <3
Yes Anna, i do appreciate that Watson's faults all center on too much love and enthusiasm. His smile and furiously wagging tail make it hard to keep people from encouraging him. He is a fun, fun dog!
Yes Laurie, looking forward to seeing you, Alan, and Chepstow!
Lovely to read good news and see your photo with the dogs. My! Watson is a big boy... Much as those licky, jumpy, SEEMINGLY unmanageable ones can be hard to corral, they sure beat the unfriendly ones any day. It falls under the heading of "Please be patient, God isn't finished with me yet." Those finishing touches are what keep you in classes :-DD Best wishes for your trip.
So glad to hear you are doing well! I might be going to the Florida corgi picnic as well. I don't know how, but I'll try to find you! LOL.
WOW...the time has gone fast with Watson...I remember when you got him! I am happy for you and your family that things are looking brighter. What fun plans you have! You look great and sounds like your ready to enjoy life again!!!! Have fun.
What a wonderful photo. We live in Illinois but attended the Florida picnic one year. We all had a wonderful time. Hopefully you will as well.
All of you look great. Have a great trip to FL and much fun with the other corgis. I'm glad you are doing better and better. Good luck.
