Hi,and happy new year to everyone , just wanted to see if anyone else had tried this product, picture this, someone rings the doorbell , dogs bark, good.they are letting you know. You approach door dogs keep barking, open door dogs keep barking, now my two are good dogs, I feel they follow me, however they do sometimes go over the top, depending on the situation. I found this product called pet corrector, basically it is a can of compressed air.what an impact this has,you do not spray it at your dog,I spray it behind me, but it breaks their attention from whatever they are focused on, and turns it to you!, then you can refocus them. It works incredibly well, much better than a whistle etc.anyone else use it?

Mal, count your blessings! Lucy wasn't a barker until we got Ricky-Rafa. Now there's no stopping her. She's barks when she herds, and she's always herding RR or chasing squirrels. Earplugs, puh-lease!

We actually don't use it as much anymore as the sight of the can is usually enough,I have also used it to help reinforce his recall training,I don't think it would be the same as a can of air used to dust off you computer as the nozzle is quite large and the sound is quite loud.mmm, maybe I will try using the nozzle off an empty on a can of air, would be cheaper if it works.

We have that. It worked great on Sparty for a couple weeks but now it barely gives him a pause. I guess at 12 he is incorrigible...sigh. Between Misty and Sparty I do not need a doorbell!

At least your's barks. My problem is that a big male stranger can stomp across the porch and knock on the door, and she doesn't even get up. Or she gets excited and goes to the door, but still no barking. I know I am not supposed to, but I had Cookie in the backseat with the boys when I dropped my son off from school one day. She didn't react at all when a stranger opened the door and reached in and assisted my son out of the car. Isn't that taking a lack of aggression too far?
It sounds like a good idea though, I'll keep it in mind for if I ever get a 2nd corgi.

Is it different from the can of air we use to clean dust off the computer? Cost more or less? I could just try the computers canned air. Seems like a good idea.

I recently read about people using it on this site but can't remember the discussion, they liked the product.
