Hi Jane stay warm! We had massive power outages just before Christmas due to an ice storm ( fortunately ours was only out for 2 hours) and some people still don't have power restored. Now they are predicting 10 inches tonight and a high for Monday of 0 or 1 degrees. Even I am not happy about it! And I like winter. Izzy and I may have to forego our walks for a few days....

My goodness I hope you are all safe & Warm?. You are in the thick of winter and we down under are in heat waves high  thirties even into the forties! high humidity!. the boys stay inside in the cool air conditioning!.

I don't see Livvy in the pic.  Do you have space to throw her ball in the house????  I assume that would be

important for sanity (sp?).  Stay in and stay warm.  I'm glad you have power.

Lois, I drive 30 miles so I have already replaced myself. I haven't taken a dog all week due to the cold:( Went grocery shopping on the way home from work...it's going to be a cooking feast...homemade chicken noodle soup and chili...plus whatever else I decide to make...I'd rather have snow but as long as we have electricity...we'll be fine!

Yes, Natalie...the windchills are going to be -35 to -60...yes below zero....Corgis will not be out more than a couple minutes...our warning says exposed flesh will freeze in 10 minutes at -35 and in 5 minutes at -50 or colder...I took off work on Monday too as I have a half hour drive each way. freezing rain tonight...

I was wondering how you are doing up there.  It is cold down here even.  Can you stay in most of the time?  Can you get to work easily?

There is talk about closing our schools on Monday as well.  The high schools will already be closed because of a teachers institute day/Christmas break.  Enjoy no homework, I know we all are here!   Stay warm!!
