I am so very happy for Honey! I hate it when my babies feel bad! I also used the link you gave to the link that rated dog foods. I have switched to the "Wellness Core Adult Dry Food". I only just started it, so it is to early to tell any improvement. I had my babies on a dry food that came highly recommended (and was a little expensive), but I found it was rated at the bottom of the ratings. So I am anxious to give this new food a try. Although I don't think my babies are having any ill effects from the other food, I really want them to get the best food and the best chance for a long and healthy life! Thanks again!

@ rebecca - The Kirkland was the bad food. It's Premium Edge that gave the great results :)

So good to hear that Honey is doing so well after just one week of her new food. I want to thank you for putting the links to the dog food advisor on your earlier blog. I have had Sophie on a weight reduction program since February. It has been a long process which I won't go into I will just say I finally got her down 5 pounds, she looks good but I want to try another pound or two for safe measure. The food I found that worked for her is the Science Diet Lite Bites (which I was not really happy about feeding her since the first ingredient is corn). Be that as it may she really liked it and it was working. I had decided that change her food once this last bag was finished. Upon reading your earlier blog I went to the website and found the Science Diet Lite is rated a 1. So I decided to switch her to a 5 rated food - but which one. The Premium Edge Healthy Weight 1 is not sold anywhere in our area. I could have bought it and had it shipped but decided to try something I can get here. I chose the Wellness Core Reduced Fat and began switching Sophie over on Friday. We have the rest of the week to continue to change her food - but already she has #1 More Energy, #2 Her runny eye stopped running, #3 she stopped licking her paws and chewing scratching, #4 her coat is silkier - ALREADY! Her new energy level is amazing. So while we were both using different dog foods (both the old and new) the results are certainly remarkable aren't they! Thanks again for sharing those links - it really helped me make a more informed decision.

i have never tried kirkland but form the results it sounds fantastic!i am very happy to hear that honey is much better!=)

I've never fed Kirkland, but I do know what amazing effects can result from feeding good quality food. I'm so glad you found the solution!
