Poor Chloe, it is just too hot for a walk or dog park at 108 degrees. I try to walk her before 10 a.m. even in the evening it is very warm. What do others do? I do play indoor fetch.

Very hot here too in the Florida Panhandle..but we do walk our Corgis early in the a.m. and I also play "indoor" fetch with tennis ball (in the hallway.) They really look forward to that. We did get a kiddie pool and they also love to chase the water coming from the garden hose.

How about eariler :) I know it's hard to wake up that early in the morning, but it really helps here in Florida. I like to go for a walk near sunset, get my bug spray on and walk the dogs till dark. Kiddie pool also work if you have yard, they are real cheap as well.

What about getting a kiddie pool and playing with his toys in the kiddie pool?

I play the indoor fetch as well. But for winter, I was considering a treadmill. You can train a dog to use a human treadmill or they make special ones for dogs.
Besides that, you can play "hide the food" just put some dog food in areas around the house for doggy to find. Also tug-o-war with a rope toy can be fun. Or if all else fails, just run around furniture and have Chloe chase you.
