There's always these dogs and one of them is a Corgi. Usually I only see the 2 of them, but today I also saw a third dog with them roaming the neighborhood. This happens very often. There are never any people accompanying them and they're just out walking about, being curious little doggies. I would really hate to see something bad happen to them. People need to be more responsible. I know who the Corgi belongs to and I wouldn't be surprised if the other dogs belonged to them as well. These people live like pigs and also have a little girl that they also let walk all over town and without shoes, mind you. Who does that? I can't imagine how much grime, germs and God knows what else she picks up on her feet while walking around. She could get seriously hurt too. It's one thing to not being wearing shoes in your own yard, but a whole different thing when you let your child walk everywhere barefoot. Geez..I just can't believe how stupid some people can be...
Ok, rant is over and I feel a lot better.
And now for an update on our Murphasaurus..
He had fleas about a week or 2 ago and we did everything we could to get rid of them and we haven't seen any more on him lately, so hopefully they are in fact gone. We didn't really know how to handle the situation at first because we have never had an animal with fleas before. We called the vet's emergency number because we were in a panic and it was about 11 PM. We bathed him in Dawn and water and then put on some Advantix like he told us to. Then I decided that I'd better give Stella a bath as well just in case. The next day he still had them so I decided to try rubbing olive oil in his skin and seeing how that goes. Then I sprayed dawn and water from a spray bottle all over the house and I sprayed Murphy and Stella. I didn't see them in the house though so that made me feel better. He's still itchy though. We bought some spray for him that is supposed to soothe itchiness and stop the biting and scratching. He's been making improvements, but he is still scratching sometimes. Not as often as he was though which is good.
