So, things I've learned thus far.
She horribly needs recall training, yes my little girl has the wanderlust of a kid in a candy factory. I know how to fix this, just 40 degree tempetures are not the time to be out and about for an unknown time.
She needs to learn legs are not a ramp to getting petted, I know people at the dog park don't help this issue, in fact they encourage this rather not so nice behavior. She needs some serious work on this matter.
Playing with other dogs is not going to be her fortee, I can see this already. I'm not too sure how to spark interest in this one but something tells me it will not be with the wild and wonderful random dog park.
Thinks I've learned at the dog park.
Treat boxes, bags and or any other type of container should not ever be brought out at the dog park, this will result in immediate mobbing.
The fattest dog always dose anything for the treat, I only say this because there was a lab twice as round as he was supposed to be.
Pockets are not a place to keep valuables, including but not limited to keys, lighters, cig packs and wallets. Lets say the same lab got really nosey and smart..." Come back here with my keys, aww, not in the" thankfully the pile was missed.
Remember, dogs don't always look where their going, or good at judging distance in between legs, or can all dogs fit thru the space sucessfully.
Though on a side note I am slightly dissapointed that no local Corgi Owners made the attempt to come out, sort of a bummer really. Hopefully, maybe next time or at the Pet Expo I'll get to meet up with some local Corgi owners.
Sincerely,
Don and Crew
