Our Joey crossed the Rainbow Bridge in the middle of the night last night and we don't know why. Our hearts are so broken :(

Thanks for the update Kathy. We all are wishing you did not have this to deal with. Any loss is hard but a sudden one is so difficult to come to terms with. Best wishes from our home to yours :)
I really want to thank all of you, our Corgi Nation, for the condolences and love and prayers. They are so appreciated. I still have a hard time thinking or talking about Joey. There was nothing wrong with him...when I brought him in the house (after calling and calling and he showed up and was staggering) and on the bed his temp was normal, his color was good (good refill on the gums). We think we had a heart attack or a stroke. We don't think he got into anything because the other 2 would have been in the same boat. Nevertheless, it is heartbreaking to lose a Corgi no matter what...especially unexpectedly and not due to ranch accidents. :( Tomorrow we will go to "Corgis Gone Wild" near Laurel, MT...we've attended this picnic for a number of years and it will be sad to not have Joey with us. Thanks to all of you, my heart will heal in time and that's what it's going to take, time. Will let you all know if Katie is pregnant with Joey's pups and if so will keep you updated. We've been getting busy so I've been spending less and less time on the computer. Thanks, everybody <3
:( How awful. Healing thoughts and prayers to your family.
We hope Katie has a little Joey Junior to pass on to you:) Can't wait to find out!
oh yeah, also the Corgi Nation rocks! we have had so many emails, comments, condolences and best wishes from Corgi breeders and owners. You guys are the best. Must be why you have Corgi dogs!!!!
thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Yes Joey had a good life here, just was not supposed to end so soon. we are hoping that Katie is pregnant with Joey Junior. As a fellow Corgi breeder said to us, "until you are owned by a Corgi, you will never understand what it is to loose your Corgi."
My heart is breaking for you. Trying to understand in a situation like this is so hard...I lost my female wolfhound that way. Came home from work and she was gone. Max, Katie, Gemma, Graycie and Oliver are all sending their canine and feline condolences.
We hope Joey passed easily, without a long drawn out illness. I don't know how to express our condolences. Just remember that your baby will be waiting for you in the coming decades.
Sad corgi arroos and condolences from down here in Arizona to the Wiley pack.
so heartbreaking..im so sorry you are going through this. :(
