So the past couple days meeko has been sneezing and tonight it has gotten worse to the point where he is so congested that he cannot breathe out of his nose, he goes into this half pant trying to breathe out of his mouth thing. He is alert and his temp it 102.3 his mucus is clear but sticky. His nose is completly dry and sticky from the mucus. He has a indiffrent breathing pattern. And will not play with his toys by his self. He wont even chew on his bully stick which is not like him at all! He will play with me if I pick up his fox toy and squeak it at him but will go into a little sneeze attack. I tried running hot water and having him sit in the batroom with me but it did not seem to help i pulled out the humidifyer and it seems to be helping a little bit he is not like struggling to breathe but what could be causing it?? i vaccumed earlier.. could that be it.. ??

It's worthwhile to know what cheatgrass and foxtail grass is. I've never gotten into ripe cheatgrass. If you do, they say you throw away your socks. You can't get them all out. Can be a serious problem for animals.
Wow $54? Maybe he has a extra bad cold then :/. Hopefully they didn't upcharge you.
If Meeko doesn't feel better in a few hours, try running a humidifier as well. My vet recommended that and it seemed to help Charlie with his congestion.
He probably has some type of cold. Charlie had this, he would hack and hack to try to get the mucus out of his nose. Most likely all your vet will need to do is prescribe Meeko an antibiotic, like ours did for Charlie. $20 tops. Take your dog to the vet!
Yeah, call the vet. Hope he is better soon.
I wonder if he has something stuck in his nasal passages? I worked for a vet eons ago in Southern California and we would see dogs sometimes that would get stuff stuck, like a foxtail (kind of like a burr). I don't know...it's a long shot and just a guess. But it sounds like something is definitely bothering him. Perhaps a trip to the vet?
