LeeLoo has a red Kong ball that we gave her earlier this week.  She enjoys it for hours on end.  BUT all she does is noses it around the room, leaving slobber trails everywhere!  She does not chomp down on it, throw it, or bit it.  If anything, she brings it to a spot she likes, flops down and licks the tar out of it.  She's even dropped it in her water dish to soften the cookies.

We asked her vet about her actions, and she believes Loo is herding the ball!  Has anyone else experienced anything like this with your corgi?  I will try to attach an action shot when I get one!

We thought she was 'challenged!'  But herding makes total sense.  We don't have kids or any other pets, so she's needing to get this instinct out somehow! It's a good in-house dog walker and we always know where she's at by the sound of the cookies rolling around.

o yes! teddy does this because its entertaining to him, he will do it for 2hours and he sometimes just lays on his back with the kong in between his paws and licks all the cheese out of it. i wouldnt be too concerned as she is enjoying it. i mean what fun is it to get the food out super fast? :)

Quin will play ball, but when she brings it back to you she stops about 6 feet away and just drop the ball and then pushs it with her nose to roll it the rest of the way to you.
