Las Vegas trip

Ok, so I took FOREVER to get back to this point, but life has been busy. In addition to the Las Vegas trip, I've had a Christmas homecoming to manage with family coming in from Montana, a new job, and just laziness in general.

So, here was the big news...
I got engaged!

That's right! On our Las Vegas vacation, Brandon proposed to me on a private gondola ride through the indoor waterways of the Venetian Hotel. We were serenaded by the most beautiful singing I've ever heard from our female gondola pilot while we gazed at a modern recreation of a market plaza that might sit along the canals of Venice. The ceilings were painted to look like an outdoor sky view with perfect lighting that made it feel like late evening with a cool breeze flowing through the plaza. It was so beautiful! When Brandon pulled out the ring box and opened it, I immediately said "Yes!", but I had to say it three time because I couldn't find my voice.

The ring is gorgeous! It's got my favorite cut of diamond and his favorite gemstone.

The Ring

The wedding date is set for November 14, 2009, and we're going back to Vegas. It's going to be a Renaissance style wedding at the Canterbury Chapels at the Excalibur Hotel.

i always told my boyfriend that winston will be the ring bearer in my wedding, no matter what hahahaha
