Yesterday was a little difficult - it makes me very grateful as well that one of my best friends is a vet tech....

That being said - Luna LOVES to eat! I got her some NylaBone Healthy Edibles Lamb & Apple Flavor Chews for Puppies. They're supposed to be gentle for their digestive systems.... I guess not if they eat them in like 5 minutes, along with probably a great amount of air while she gobbled it down.

She got it - and the next thing I know there's a stub left, which I took away from her. She seemed okay - Normal corgi puppy. This was about 12:30 and everything seemed fine with her. At around 1:30 I went to lunch with Kristy and when we came back there was vomit in her crate: it was pretty much the NylaBone. I took her out to go potty and had Kristy watch her while I cleaned up. Once they came in again though, she vomited again - and again. Once her stomach contents were gone it was pretty much the foamy type of stuff and it really concerned me.

Kristy and I went to RiteAid to pick up some Pepto for Luna - and after that she ended up only vomiting foam twice more. She got some chicken and rice this morning and for lunch (which she loved!) and seems to be feeling much better. But of course it is concerning to have gone through that again.

Misty was jealous of the meals Luna was getting and wanted some chicken of her own. She stared me down in the kitchen as I was preparing them. She did get some.

Check videos to see how much Luna liked her chicken and rice meal.

According to Kristy it's 0.5mL to 1.5mL per pound. We were staying on the low dosage side and only giving her 0.5mL per pound (about 3 cc's total for her 6 pounds) every 6 hours. She ended up getting a total of 2 doses.

On the safe side ask your vet though if it's okay.

My Corgi "fur child" pup is starting to really eat her food.. very quickly. Drinks her puppy milk like she's downing a shot of something:-) An expereinced breeder reccomended to me that I sit there and gently pat Ellie on the back while she eats, the rythym of patting kind of calms and slows them down.. don't know if there is any truth to it but we're puke free so far!!

We can give dogs Pepto? My Linus has a sensitive stomach and we sometimes have problems too. Does your tech friend say its pretty safe to give?

Thanks so much for your comments! I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who feels this way about my corgi-kid!

I gave my babies "Greenies", which are supposed to be good for their teeeth. But they didn't chew them, they ate them, in two are three bites. Then they threw them back up. So no more greenies. When my babies are not feeling well I can hardly think of anything else. I worry so much about them! It is always such a feeling of great relief when they start acting like themselves again. Love your videos, and your blogs! Luna is an angel
