I just love my little wombat! She is growing by bunny hops and bounds and is up to 7.3 lbs as of Friday. Obviously her weight and growth had no ill/lingering effects from her little tummy ache issues last Sunday. I talked to her vet about what happened with her and she said not to give her those anymore - which is good because I already gave them away to Billie! She said an unflavored rawhide bone might be best for her.

This week she received her second series of shots, plus her intranasal Bordatella vaccine. She was such a good girl, and does so well with her visit to the vet office. I did notice that they made a mistake with her breed though - they listed her as a Cardigan! I made sure that they fixed that serious error - Luna's a Pembroke! (Not that there's anything wrong with cardis, she just isn't one)

She's doing better with her crate training and staying dry overnight. She is now able to have a blanket in with her for bedding without fear of her soiling it. She likes burying herself underneath the folds of it, which is really cute. I really need to get a picture of it someday.

Saturday, today, we started puppy kindergarten. I found this highly recommended place in South Park that does training on the grounds of a dog wash. The trainer is K8's Gr8 K9s and the dog wash is South Bark Dog Wash. Although we got a little rained on we had a lot of fun today - Luna seemed to really enjoy herself and is purely tuckered out as I'm writing this. We're working on "sit" and "leave it", as well as a loose leash walk. Thankfully Luna wasn't the littlest pup there - but she found ways to isolate herself when she didn't want to be messed with anymore.

What was the funniest was when she would go in front of another person and sit for a treat during the off-leash play. She's very cute.

I have a Luna too since 3 weeks too!! I had her brother for 6 months before I got her so when she arrived 3 weeks ago, it was a nice surprise for her. Today at 9 months old and she is having her period for the first time but stilll is a happy puppy joyful and plenty of energy. I believe that the Pembroke Corgi Luna of this world are very cute and joyful puppies! Nice story Krystle!

As someone told me, take a lot of pictures because they grow so fast....boy that's the truth! One day I noticed someone took my cute pup, and replaced him with a dog. Lucky for me he's a handsome young man that looks much like that cute pup....just bigger. ( The brain stays puppy though)
