Maddie found something delightful to roll in!

While we were out playing with the dogs, Maddie rolled in something. Based on how her fur smelled when she came in, I'd say that something small died, and then something larger peed on it.

I think that in the world of Dogdom, that's the equivalent of winning the PowerBall. She was so proud!

Needless to say, two dogs had baths this evening.


Madison was not happy.

Yes, this is a familiar story! Reminds me of our dead possum! Maddie looks like she is expressing her disapproval after she spent so much time just getting her Eau De Dead Animal smell on!

LOL, I just got that look from Steve a few minutes ago when I was towel drying him after a bath. He actually likes baths, but he'd rather do a body drag along the carpet and then I have to walk on soggy carpet....

Oh what a look Beth how mean of you everyone should feel so sorry for Maddie. Is that Jack going into Maddie's crate again? It must be one of those nights!

Now that is definitely a disappointed look! I mean, c'mon, taking the time to find the world's most stinkiest stink and you just go and wash it all away like it wasn't an amazing accomplishment!?! I know I got that same look after Brynner found a lovely been-dead-three-days-cooking-in-blazing-sun bloated carp. He took all that time to get a good roll in it and it just got bathed away! We dog owners are just terrible and can't appreciate a good stink when we smell one. lol
