Mitz, the self-appointed lifeguard at the dog park.

Morning all!

I have to share, because I think only corgi owners can appreciate this as much as I do.

Mitzie has made herself the lifeguard of the dog park.  She doesn't go there to frap, sniff, or make friends.  She has a higher calling.  Now, when we get there, she climbs on top of a picnic table and polices everyone.  If anyone is playing too rough, barking too much, or making a child squeal, she launches off her table and flies over to investigate.  If anyone fights, she runs up to them, pops off a warning bark, and bulldozes her way between them to stop the fight.  She isn't aggressive, she doesn't have a malicious bone in her body, she's just law enforcement.  The warning bark is a simple, "We don't do that here!"  Then she returns to her lifeguard tower, like a superhero keeping watch over her fair city.

Corgis do like to take charge and obviously she just isn't going to put up with nonsense.

Good girl Mitz.

Sounds like Mitz is the "fun police", too.  Bear has the same tendancy to try and contain too much frivolity!

That is hilariously awesome! Emrys likes to police my boyfriend and I while we are play fighting/tickle fighting. We can't do anything but laugh. Keep up the good work Mitzie
