Moving Day!

Well, Today is the day I move out of my small efficiency apartment. I found a house for rent 7 miles from where my new job is, and my landlord's wife saw Scout's picture and already loves her!!! So I will be going from barely enought space to walk around to a 3 bedroom house. Guess that's 1 for me and 2 for the corgi. Rent is less than I would have expected. Yeah, utilities will be more, but I will make more than enough to cover it.

We have a big yard (shared but still a great size) and are walking distance from a small public lake. Not to mention the fact that southern Indiana has the Hoosier National Forest! Great places all around down there to go hiking... a nice change from the 2 spots that we have to go now.

Well, I shall update again when I get down there and get moved in and my internet gets turned on sometime next week... It's going to be a busy first few weeks.

Comment by John Wolff on June 28, 2011 at 12:51pm: Moving is a time when people lose their cats & dogs. Take long walks in all directions; explore the new neighborhood so Scout can find her way home if she gets loose. Fenced yard? Check fence for weaknesses.
