Good Evening All!!

I'm new here to the board and I thought I'd say hello! I joined initially hoping to find a Corgi and adopt one into our home. Well, I am proud to annouce, we found one. And she seems like such an angel!! She is 2 years old and is a tri-colored Corgi. I am in LOVE with her already and she's only been home for 2 hours! I also have 2 cats that are my babies and I was very worried about, but so far so good! No growling, hissing or fighting.

She is just so lovely and wants to snuggle. I can't wait to see how the rest of the week goes as she gets more comfortable.

Oh, and did I mention no accidents in the house!? I was worried about her being in a new home and not knowing her territory, but so far so good!!

Can't wait to start posting more, learning about everyone, their doggies and hopefully meeting up one day with you all!

What a terrific thing for all of you!  A happy ending is what every corgi deserves.  I can't wait to hear more stories and see more pictures of your happy girl!

Thank you everyone! I said "Lets go night night!" And she went right in her crate and slept throught the night and made no peep! I walked into the living room this morning and she was snuggling my boyfriend on his lap, watching the news! She seems to be fitting in just fine and I am so thankful! :)

She is so pretty, my new little fireball will also be a red-headed tri. Sounds like Vicki is settling right in with the kitties, enjoy!

Thank you! We've been keeping a very close eye. My one cat (Jude) is large and in charge lol. He is SO laid back and just loves everyone. He's 18 lbs and just loveable. He's almost like a dog. My other cat Lucy is much more "cat" like. Only wants to be pet when she wants and is much more skiddish. I'm surprised at how well they have been. But I am very hesitant still, and keeping a close watch.

Congrats!:)

That is great that she gets along with your cats, but when I first brought Ziggy home, they were all pawing him every chance they got (all had no front claws so it was okay) but Ziggy ignored it the entire time. Then when we moved and it was just my one kitty, (RIP Skiski <3) and Ziggy settled in more, he got too big for his britches and I believe that if Skittles hadn't been as quick as he was, he might have wound up hurt, which was something that I wasn't going to tolerate and nearly felt I shouldn't be risking. But anyhow, after a few corrections ("NO!" and I'd ban him off the furniture for ten minutes) it was no issue:) So just keep your eyes open and correct it itstantly if anything does go wrong!:P
